Phoenix Drilling are looking to add an experienced Geotechnical Estimator to our ever-expanding team of brilliant staff.
This Monday to Friday full-time position will be based at our Head Office here in Livingston, West Lothian with sufficient on-site parking available – although occasional travel will be required.
With a Bachelor’s degree, two-years of Ground Investigation experience and a full driving license preferred, this role may suit an experienced degree qualified engineer looking to make a change in career or, alternatively, an individual with previous estimating or managerial experience.
Some key responsibilities include –
- Review and evaluate Ground Investigation/Site Investigation tender documents.
- Prepare and complete tenders/bids to the client’s specification within the agreed timeframes and within accuracy of cost.
- Co-ordinate with the contracts teams and site support to ensure resources are available and timeframes met.
Our preferred skills include –
- Previous experience of working in the Ground Investigation industry
- An understanding of the geotechnical market and industry standards
- Be computer literate – excel, word, outlook.
The salary bracket for the position sits between £30,000-£40,000 dependant on previous experience.
