As part of a Ground Source Heating Project in South Lanarkshire, Phoenix Drilling was commissioned to drill and install two 200m deep boreholes within a landscaped garden. The project had to be carefully planned to ensure all lawns, fencing and decorative block were protected throughout the course of the work. On concluding the project the client awarded the Heating Contractor a 5-star review for the works with an added recommendation for the drilling operation.
The works comprised of:
2 No rotary boreholes to depths of 200m bgl
Installation of geothermal looped pipe
Adequate protection of private landscaped garden area
Building successful working relationship with industry contractors
